Clock-in
Open roster.ie/kiosk on the tablet by the till, or the old phone in the drawer. Staff punch in with a PIN, the photo proves it was them, and you see who is in from anywhere.
Replaces: The paper sign-in sheet, the clocking machine on the wall, and the argument about what time someone arrived.

The product itself, on a demo venue. Nothing mocked up.
What it does
Each employee has a four-digit PIN. An optional photo on every punch means the timecard shows who actually clocked in.
Open the kiosk page on the device, scan the code from your account, done. The device stays enrolled until you remove it.
Start and end a break on the same screen. Your break rule applies to the timecard automatically.
From your phone: who is clocked in, since when, and who was due and has not arrived.
A punch made while the wifi drops is kept on the device and sent when it comes back.
Someone who turns up unscheduled still gets a timecard, flagged for you to decide.
Irish rules, built in
Employers must keep records of hours worked and breaks. The punches and breaks are that record, kept per employee.
Punch photos are stored for the venue only, visible to managers, and deleted on the schedule you set. Employees are told on their first punch.
What comes out
Punches flow straight into timecards; nothing to export separately.

Questions
No. Any tablet or phone with a browser works, including the one you already have by the till.
The optional photo on each punch, and the manager's view of who was due. Buddy punching shows up on the timecard.
Clocking in is on the venue's device on purpose, so a punch means the person was at work. Staff use their own phones for their schedule and time off.
