Run the bar. Fill the Saturday gap.

roster is the schedule, the clock and the timecards for a pub, with the one thing a scheduling tool never had: when a bartender drops out, the gap goes to vetted workers nearby and gets filled.

Pubs and bars: a working pubs and bar in Ireland

The moment

Saturday, 4pm. Your bartender texts.

The match starts at six. The group chat goes quiet. You end up behind the bar yourself until close, and the till still has to be counted. roster posts the shift to rated bar staff nearby, tells you who has taken it, and the rest of the week carries on.

A week with roster

The week, as it runs in pubs and bars.

  1. 01 · Monday

Build next week in the grid. Sunday premium and late licence hours are already in the cost strip.

  2. 02 · Wednesday

Publish. Every bartender and floor person gets their week on their phone, and swaps come to you for a yes or no.

  3. 03 · Saturday

Staff clock in with a PIN on the tablet behind the bar. You see who is in from your phone.

  4. 04 · Monday again

Approve the timecards in one screen and send the payroll file to your accountant.

The operations platform

What matters most in pubs and bars.

The roster schedule grid: staff down the side, days across, shifts as blocks, with the cost of the week underneath

The schedule

Bar, floor, door and kitchen on one week grid. Late licence nights and split shifts are normal here, so the grid handles overnight shifts and shows the labour cost of the week as you build it.

Clock-in on any phone

A PIN and an optional photo on the tablet at the end of the bar. No hardware to buy, no app for staff to install for clocking in.

Irish rules, built in

The law does the sums for you.

Sunday premium

Staff who work Sundays are entitled to a premium under the Organisation of Working Time Act. roster breaks Sunday hours out on every timecard and in the payroll file so the premium is never a guess.

Tips and gratuities

Since the Payment of Wages (Amendment) Act 2022, card tips must be distributed fairly and every employee gets a statement. roster splits the pool from hours actually worked and sends the statements.

Rest after a late licence

Eleven hours between the end of one shift and the start of the next. Whoever closes at 2.30am cannot open at 10. The grid warns before the week is published.

The price for pubs and bars

€29.99a month per venue, or €24.99 billed yearly
